A big Welcome to this cute little PLUM! :) I loved using this deep plum color for this newborn session!
Little baby girl is snugly and sleepy in this alpaca wool naturally dyed to a deep purple. We also used a gray wood mat floor and the wooden bucket from Intuition Backgrounds! Just perfection!
This mama also had a special pink bonnet made by a family friend that she wanted to work in, so we chose to pair that with gray to make baby the star! Light grays WORK with baby girls and look amazing! The gray helped the little pink bonnet to really pop out in these images. I just love working in meaningful items to families into their newborn photos. I paired the bonnet with that little cream hand knitted antique quilt, a fabulous find from Pere Market and Antiques in Clare, MI! I just love that little shop!

Finally, family pictures! Family is everything. I especially love taking pictures of the family with their newest family addition. Their hearts just shine though their eyes and it is pure love. This little girl is blessed to have such a gentle and loving big brother. This guy was so gentle and proud of his new baby sister. I can tell they are going to be best friends.

And don't forget pictures with mommy and daddy. Mom has carried her sweet girl for nine long months and the look of peace when they are finally a complete family is just pure beauty. And of course....daddy's strong arms. Every girl needs her daddy's strength!
