“What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matters compared to what lies within us.” —Ralph Waldo Emerson
When this family came in for their senior pictures consultation, we had no idea what a beautiful young lady with such personality we were about to get to know! She described herself as a nature lover and wanted all her senior portraits to be outside. We were excited to do that and knew the perfect spot: Deerfield Park, which is one of the most beautiful parks in the Mt. Pleasant area.
Then when we asked her to get up and be ready by 7am on a crisp October morning, and she was all about it, we knew we were in for something special. Sunsets are beautiful. BUT, sunrise? That's really where you get some amazing atmospheric conditions---morning mist and morning light.
This senior girl was ALL IN. It was a bit chilly (ok, there may have been some frost on the ground). She took those shoes right off and walked all over the wet cold earth to get the very best pictures with us! She smiled the whole time and made us laugh...all while looking just like a forest fairy.
and that floral crown? She MADE it.
and then......
She played her ukulele. And we just fell in love.
This girl has personality, talent, and love, and we loved getting to know her and her whole family. Her dad loved birch trees and we found this fallen birch and it was just perfect! We really try our best to capture who you ARE. Your senior year is such an important milestone in your life and these pictures will be what you show your children and grandchildren!
Deerfield Park has amazing water areas by the Chippewa River as well as a covered bridge and other secret locations we have scouted out!
This sweet girl, like most of our senior sessions, booked our top package, which includes an amazing album! This family has agreed to share their album with you! You can click here to see her entire album!
Our albums are layflat, have triple thick pages, and have a guarantee to last 100 years with use, and 150 years in dark storage!
We would like to say congratulations to this young woman! As you graduate this week, know that you have the whole world before you! We believe you will change the world! Thanks for letting us capture this small moment for you!
